The museum offers a unique experience of going through the history of Kerala using light and sound tableaux. Cultural exhibitions and performances are also held at the museum. You can see and learn about the stalwarts like Kunjali Marakkar, of Arakkal Royal Family, who was the leader of the navy, Thunjath Ramanujan Ezhuthachan, poet and father of Malayalam and the great musician and king of Travancore, Swathi Thirunal Rama Varma.

Kerala’s known history is represented in 36 visuals which cover the sweep of history over the last 2000 years. You can also see visuals the Aryan Immigration, St Thomas, Sankaracharya, the Devadasis, Vasco da Gama, Kalaripayattu, Tipu Sultan, Kerala Varma Pazhassi Raja, and many historical documents.

The museum is just a stone’s throw away from the city and is located on the national highway. It is 20km from Cochin International Airport.
